Electric boilers that produce steam can use a condensate return tank to improve operating cost. At Reimers they are able to fabricate many sizes and orientations for customers. The photo shows a vertical design having two feed pumps. The condensate storage tanks collect the condensate produced from the steam that is generated in the power plant and distributed for various uses within the plant. When the steam is used it condenses, and instead of wasting this condensate it is collected and sent to storage tanks for future re-use to make more steam. By doing this the power plant uses less make up water which has to be pre-treated before putting it thru the boilers. A sparge tube and float are installed to improve operation.
Reimers Electra Steam, Inc. has been a manufacturer of commercial and industrial electric steam boilers since 1908. Our electric steam boilers are utilized for high and low pressure steam applications, such as garment pressing, jewelry cleaning, medical sterilizers, pressing irons, steam rooms, air humidification, baking ovens and many others. Our boilers are used in garages, factories, laboratories, hospitals, and anywhere saturated steam is required.
Electric boilers are very efficient. They are compact (miniature) and require no venting. Dry steam is discharged directly from the electric boiler for a quick, efficient operation. The saturated steam from our boilers can be controlled as to pressure, which will vary the temperature and BTU transfer of the steam. We offer a variety of models from 1.5 to 750kW with carbon steel pressure vessels and 1.5 to 120kW in all stainless steel design to match any steam application.
