Safe Electric Boilers from Reimers

What does UL mean.

UL – Underwriters Laboratories (UL cUL ) US and Canada markings for meeting codes – is an independent, not-for-profit organization that tests and certifies product safety. Products have been tested to assure they meet the highest standards of the time.

You want a UL “listed” product when it comes to electric boilers.

Products that have been tested and comply with their standards and guidelines to operate alone safely. These products have gone through periodic inspections to ensure they remain in accordance with the listing. If a product is listed, it guarantees the product fully complies with the UL standards and will bear the UL Mark.

Value of a UL listed product.

A UL listing is independent acting as a third party to assure testing and compliance.

UL identifies tested products as listed or other classifications. If listed the product is capable of safe use in various applications. If other than listed, the product has been evaluated only in limited conditions, which may mean it is not safe to use some applications.

UL has an online directory that includes companies authorized to use the UL Mark. This ensures that they meet standards and are in full compliance. Reimers boiler products are in this group.

The UL Mark is the standard in the US/Canada, and being more accepted in other countries. UL establishes safety standards and adapts to change in technology.
