At Reimers there are models of electric boiler manufactured that have external wrapping to protect components from water and debri contact. Many small boilers built from Reimers operate in sterilizer or wash down applications. Although not approved for heavy water contact they will withstand occasional sprays and splashes. Live electrical parts should never be exposed to water contact for safety concerns.
