Various levels of power control are available. Some can work with utilities on live time, others just limit power on site w/o utility company feedback. In any case the KW must be measured and the power monitor decide what output it will make to manage energy consuming sources. A Bacnet would be highly capable but more costly than a basic monitor with out put relays.
